Trim the wick to 5–6 mm before each burn. Place the candle on a heat-resistant, level surface and never leave it unattended. Keep away from children, pets and flammable objects. Allow the wax to melt evenly during the first burn for the best performance.

- On the first burn, let the top melt evenly to the edges. This stops tunnelling.
- Burn for up to 3 to 4 hours at a time, then let it cool before relighting.
- Keep away from drafts, curtains, children and pets. Never leave a lit candle alone.
- Stop burning when about 1 cm of wax is left.
